Wedding Colors

Most people base the color scheme of their weddings off of their favorite colors. But have you ever heard of creating a color scheme based on the meanings of the colors? Have you ever walked into a room and felt a certain emotion and didn't really know why? There is a reason behind this and it is the representation of the colors you see.

Each color has a sense, it has a vibe, a way of sending signals to your brain and invoking certain feelings within you. This is usually how we obtain a favorite color in the first place because we like how that color makes us feel when we see it. Well, what if your wedding was coordinated in a special way so that you and your guests could gets the vibes from the scheme, the environment of the wedding? How neat, right?!

It is easily attainable as long as you know the attributes of the colors you are putting into place. Some colors even have not-so-enjoyable attributes that you may want to consider when planning the color of the attendant outfits, and other items that will be very apparent. Such as yellow. Yellow has attributes of jealousy, deceit, and hazard, so be cautious when covering your wedding in large amounts of yellow decor.

The idea is that if you use more colors that are based in goodness then in bad then you will have an inviting environment that will emit love, goodness, and emotional balance. Isn.t this what we all want at our wedding?

Red is the color of passion, right? Absolutely. But if you have a wedding that is basted in red you are actually subjecting the mentality of the colors bad-side which is violence, war, blood, and aggression. This is one color that should be used in moderation so as not to excite the mind.

Yellow used in small doses can resonate joy, happiness, optimism, imagination, and hope. But too much will send signals of cowardice, betrayal, dishonesty, jealousy, and deceit.

Blue is one of the go-ahead-and-slap-it-on colors. All attributes of blue are good. Peace, tranquility, calm, stability, loyalty, security, and the list goes on.

Brown is one to be used in excess. Home, reliability, comfort, endurance, stability.

Pastel colors reflect trust. Just be aware that an abundance of red, yellow, orange, green, purple, gray, white, or black can cause an emotional uproar. Be sparing.
